Shoulder Pain

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder joint has a good mobility but the least stability. It is a ball and socket type of joint, where the ball of the arm bone fits in the socket of the shoulder bone. Since the size of the ball is bigger than that of the socket, the joint can move sufficiently in all directions.

Back pain is very common and we come across people of all gender and all age reporting pain in their back. It won’t be an exaggeration if we categorize back pain under a lifestyle disorder. Unhealthy food, irregular sleeping patterns, inadequate physical activity, mental and physical stress contribute to pain in back.
As more and more people started working from home during COVID pandemic, mobility reduced significantly. Simultaneously, people are spending more time with mobile phones, tablets and laptops. People have been relying more on YouTube guided exercises and WhatsApp assisted food supplements by self-proclaimed experts. All this led to disturbed metabolism, repetitive stress injuries to muscles and joints.
Diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases, digestive disorders, PCOD and their medications both lead to inflammation in joints and muscles.
Most of the back pains are mechanical in nature, medication only suppresses it.
